About Anaemate
Built for a billing problem that general software does not solve
Anaemate exists because anaesthetic billing has structural characteristics that generic medical billing tools handle badly — and because the cost of that falls on anaesthetists rather than on the software.
Why Anaemate was created
Anaesthetists in private practice inherit an administrative operation they did not train for and rarely have staff to run. The work arrives immediately — capture, quoting, consent, claiming, collection, reconciliation — while the volume that would justify employing someone to handle it arrives much later, if at all.
The available responses were to absorb the work personally, or to hand it to a billing agent and accept losing sight of it. Anaemate was built to remove that choice: to automate the mechanical parts of the process while keeping the practice able to see exactly what is happening to its income.

What the product is opinionated about
These are design positions rather than mission statements. They determine what the platform does and does not do.
Built around anaesthetic billing specifically
General medical billing software treats an anaesthetic as an unusual case. The fee structure, the dependence on procedure duration, the difficulty of quoting in advance and the reliance on stickers and theatre lists are all treated as exceptions. Anaemate treats them as the normal case, because they are.
Capture where the work happens
The information needed to bill exists in complete form at exactly one moment. Any design that defers capture is a design that accepts reconstruction, and reconstruction is where cases are lost.
Visibility is not a reporting feature
A practice that cannot distinguish billed from received from outstanding does not know its financial position. That distinction is structural to the platform rather than a report bolted on at the end.
Transparency with patients is operationally useful
Informed financial consent is an ethical obligation, but a documented estimate also prevents disputes, reduces follow-up and improves collection. Doing it properly is not a compliance cost.

Anaemate is a product of TCI Health Pty Ltd. The Anaemate mobile application is published under the TCI Health developer account on both the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Australian focus
Built for one market deliberately
Medicare, ECLIPSE, private health fund arrangements, DVA and workers’ compensation are specific to Australia, as are the privacy obligations that attach to health information here. A platform that tried to serve several jurisdictions would handle all of them approximately.
